About the Blog#
The first time I wrote something online was probably on QQ Space, mostly writing year-end summaries and some daily musings.
After that, I didn't write much until university, when I often found answers to some questions on various English or Chinese blogs, which sparked the idea of starting my own blog.
My first blog was probably created on CSDN, but I can't remember the account now; it should have recorded some OJ problem solutions. Then I came across WordPress, and some customizable settings piqued my interest, and I used it for a while.
Later, I started hosting static web pages on GitHub Pages, initially using Hexo. Other similar tools were used as well, writing Markdown in the code repository, then building and submitting each time. Gradually, I added Travis for automatic builds, and later GitHub Actions for automatic triggers, which was quite enjoyable.
I also tried VuePress when it came out, probably because I was using Vue at work back then.
The most recent instance was when I hand-coded using Next.js, hosted on Vercel, utilizing a bunch of tech stacks I wanted to use, and set up a CMS for easier article management. During this time, due to access speed issues, I also hosted it on Cloudflare.
Looking back, I've spent more time tinkering with the blog itself than actually writing posts, and I believe I'm not the only one 😆.
Recently, I've been learning about web3-related topics and stumbled upon the xlog platform, which I'm quite interested in.
I'll gradually move some content over here and update it.
